Sewing Machine Operators

As an established, family-owned manufacturing company in Cynthiana, IN., Pearison, Inc. is a leader in the Marching Band and Color Guard Uniform industry with customers worldwide. Our continued success has created additional positions in our Manufacturing Departments.
POSITION SUMMARY:
A sewing machine operator would work predominantly within our Band Shoppe division, manufacturing uniforms, flags, and custom accessories. Working as a team or individually, you will learn to sew our garments from start to finish. Our sewing machine operators enjoy a clean, comfortable working environment and day shift schedule.
STANDARD HOURS ARE MONDAY – FRIDAY, 7:00 AM TO 3:30 PM CDT
SEASONAL OVERTIME IS REQUIRED
FROM JULY THRU OCTOBER,
HOURS VARY FROM SEASON TO SEASON.
NO SUNDAY SCHEDULING

Sales Representative

We're looking for someone local to our office in Southern Indiana or someone willing to relocate to the Evansville, Indiana area.
Position Summary: The Sales Representative position is available for two of our three divisions - Band Shoppe and Superior Cheer. As a Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for designing and creating new uniforms, flags, and other custom items. You'll also help customers complete their look by selling stock items.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers via phone and email to understand their needs and design preferences.
Design garments and other custom items to best suit a customer's thematic vision.
Convert customer-provided measurements into uniform sizes.
Work independently, maintain an organized workspace, and collaborate with a team on larger projects.
Key-in customer orders while simultaneously working on custom projects.
Requirements:
Knowledge of marching arts and/or cheerleading is desirable.
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, navigate the internet, and learn new software as needed.
Effective and strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and creative environment with a high level of detail.
Polite and energetic disposition while communicating with customers and co-workers.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and creative environment.
Ability to learn and maintain a working knowledge of a wide array of products.
STANDARD HOURS ARE MONDAY – FRIDAY, 8:00 AM TO 5:00 PM CDT, WITH EXTENDED HOURS AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER. PAID TRAVEL TO 1 TO 2 CONFERENCES EACH YEAR IS REQUIRED.
